Events DC Celebrates Opening of “Made in DC” Coffee Shop, Compass Coffee Inside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Events DC, the official convention and sports authority for the District of Columbia will celebrate the opening of DC homegrown coffee shop, Compass Coffee inside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans will join Events DC to highlight the arrival of this new retail establishment that further demonstrates their commitment to “Made in DC” businesses while also continuing efforts to drive DC’s growth, prosperity and entrepreneurship.
Events DC is focused on creating enriching collaborations with local Washington, DC businesses and entrepreneurs – similar to this partnership with Compass Coffee – as this remains one of the keys to powering our local economic engine. It is also Events DC’s goal to generate heightened visibility for the city, its venues and its offerings – in an effort to attract more unique and diverse event and entertainment options for both residents and visitors alike to experience.
