Backed by the city of Washington DC, the mission of MET FEST is to serve as the growth engine that fosters participation and interest in STEM education, and the Technology / Gaming / Esports industries among youth and young adults throughout the Greater Washington, DC region and the broader community of multi-cultural youth nationally who are interested in gaming entertainment and careers. MET FEST features amateur, Pro-Am, high school, and collegiate Esports tournaments, open game play and information on college scholarships and professional educational and professional opportunities for gamers to level up their skills.
